IceStat is a market research and consulting firm. Our objective is client sustainable growth using a combination of methods that address internal and external conditions that affect a company's growth and profitability. Our core strengths are consumer market forecasting, market behavior and competitive analysis. We provide both strategic and tactical support for a wide range of business scenarios.

We often operate behind the scenes helping clients successfully - and aggressively - engage the competition. We don't believe in the soft approach. Some of our methods are designed to displace competitors to open up market niches, others to position a client in an emerging niche that the competitors have not yet detected. Operating as a support center, our work is mostly behind the scenes. Our projects are confidential so is all client communication. Inquiries are treated with the same level of confidentiality. The nature of our work prevents us from accepting clients that may compete with current or recent clients as that would create a conflict of interest situation.

Our services are not charged by the hour but by the service and service level provided. The Basic level is intended for smaller businesses or special situations, whereas the Standard suits medium or large operations. In-depth is for large enterprises or ventures that are heavily funded. There are no hidden expenses and deadlines are always met.

Having worked as CFO for an engineering firm that exported solutions for big industries all over the world, I became sensitized to how foreign exchange rates affect profitability. I successfully risk managed cash flows totaling billions of ISK spread out over time through several currencies and that experience completely changed the way I approach marketing.

A Master's in Marketing Management from Boston coupled with financial experience has greatly influenced how I approach and perceive marketing. In order for a business to grow, it has to synchronize with the outside economic environment. That means mapping the chain from supplier to consumer and the major factors that influence the growth strategy.

Having worked with statistical and financial information since 1997, I'm fascinated with many new solutions that have been introduced to the market, specifically those that convert text to quantifiable data.
