CURRENT PROJECTS

International trading platform for 'new' commodity

Capital or equity investors sought to develop a trading platform for a 'new' commodity. The global market for the commodity was $350 billion in 2009. The Asian market 2011 (incl. Oceania) reached $156 billion. The market contracted as a result of economic conditions in the US and EU, overall process inefficiency and a competing commodity, but bounced back 2010 and 2011. Greater efficiency in how the commodity is traded provides a strong competitive advantage expected to neutralize the competing commodity and increase overall transaction volume. Primary revenue stream is commission on deal-flow; secondary revenue stream sales of real-time statistical information that today is nonexistent or obsolete.

PR monitoring and smartphone surveys for customer identification

Solution providers sought to meet customer requirements for accurate PR monitoring and smartphone surveys. Client operations are focused in Europe. Sector is heavily regulated and highly sensitive to negative publicity. Energy price has major impact on pricing and profitability. Economics of scale result in reduced cost of goods sold. The sector demonstrates growth despite economic conditions but is high risk.
